asked questions about our online resume service.
Frequently Asked Questions:
How long does my resume stay online?
Your resume will stay online for 90 days.
Three days prior to your resumes expiration date you will receive an email message from us
with instructions on how to extend your resume for an additional 90 days.
Who can see my resume ?
Only employers who have paid for a membership
- your resume is not available to the public at large. You may also hide from view
your name, address, home phone number and work phone number from member employers if you
desire.
Why do I need a password for my resume ?
Your resume number and password is used to
edit your resume or "Jobs Notifications" profile and to extend your resume
online for an additional 90 days. You can also easily apply to jobs online by clicking on
the "Submit your resume for this position by clicking here" found at the bottom
of any ad with your resume number and password.
I've lost my resume password - How can I get it ?
Use the form below. Your resume number and
password will be emailed to you by entering your email
address.
How do I edit my resume or extend my resume
for 90 days?
Using this page, log in below with your resume
ID number and Password. This will take you to your individual resume edit page. Just
make your changes or to extend your resumes life, simply click "Save Changes" at
the bottom of the page and your resume is then extended for an additional 90 days.
How do I change preferences, re-activate or
unsubscribe from my enrollment in
"Jobs
Notifications" ?
Since Jobs Notifications expire after a few
weeks, you can reactivate your enrollment easily. Go to
Jobs Notifications and enter your new
preferences and your resume number and password. Change any of the fields or selection
criteria you desire, then submit the form.
To "Unsubscribe" from Jobs Notifications, enter your resume workstation and
uncheck enrollment.
I've de-activated or modified my resume and I am
still receiving "Jobs Notifications". Why ?
Occasionally resumes are posted to our resume
database twice. This is from clicking on the "Submit my Resume" push
button more than once. We catch most double postings, but not all. If you have
experienced any of these problems email us and we will fix any problems you have.
How do I delete my resume ?
We have two options on the site for resume
removal.
A.
Deactivation:
This
process is enabled within your resume profile account page, it de-activates your resume so
that it is not viewable by employers, resume searchers or anyone but yourself. You can
change between active and deactivated easily as you go into and out of job search mode.
B.
You can elect to permanently
Delete your
resume by clicking this link and then enter your resume number and password in the
deletion request form. Unlike when you de-activate your resume you will have to re-post
your resume again later.
